Our Mission
We at Southwest Missouri Day at the Range, introduce people with disabilities to the many outdoor activities through education, hands-on opportunities, and assistive technology so that they may choose to participate at their own ability level. Opening the doors for people with disabilities would lead to fulfilling dreams and moving beyond boundaries placed on them. It is our hope that many will know that their dreams can come true - if they will dream and then act upon that dream.
So you think you can write? Here’s your chance to find out!
Welcome to our contest, where one lucky winner will become a published author. We’re offering our most comfortable T-shirt as a prize for the best writing detailing your experience with Southwest Missouri Day at the Range!
Limited mobility can put a damper on the amount of outdoor activities that you can partake in. This may have caused you to become a wallflower when it comes to enjoying outdoor activities, but that does not have to be the case anymore. Bring your whole family down for a day at the range.
Those who suffer from a disability that limits their mobility should be able to enjoy all of the joys and wonders that Mother Nature has to offer. There are many outdoor activities that those with disabilities feel discouraged taking part in due to their limited mobility. Say goodbye to that fear! At the Southwest Missouri Day at the Range you can expect cutting edge assistive technology to help extend your mobility far beyond your normal capabilities.
